All transfers - $10

Online/Private Transfers for Non-NFA firearms:
All transfers - $50

Form 4 NFA Transfers (Includes form prep/assistance and fingerprinting): 
If item was purchased through Oregon Outfitters - $50
If item purchased elsewhere - $125

NOTE: Items not picked up after 30 days will incur storage fees of $25 per month.
Property not picked up after 365 days shall be considered abandoned. 

How to buy guns online

Oregon Outfitters makes buying guns online EASY! 
  1. Contact Oregon Outfitters.
  2. Inform Ryan that you would like to have a firearm shipped to his shop for pickup.
  3. If you agree with the fees above, arrange the transfer by completing the online purchase and listing Oregon Outfitters as your FFL. 
  4. Provide Oregon Outfitters with your name, order number, and seller's email so that dealers may exchange license info (popular online stores likely will have your FFL on file). Use Contact Form or email to [email protected]. 
  5. Send tracking info to Oregon Outfitters.
  6. Oregon Outfitters will contact you when item is received, processed and ready for transfer. 
  7. Arrange appointment to complete transfer. 
  8. Bring cash, check or card and current state or government issued photo ID.
  9. If you do not have current ID, you can bring supplemental government issued photo ID to confirm address changes.

How will I know if my firearm has arrived?
I will contact you once your firearm has been processed into our system. Generally speaking, firearms received are processed within 2 business days of receipt. 

How long is the wait for a background check in OR?
OSP is still not prioritizing CHL holders and are processing all FICS checks in chronological order. OSP FICS checks are taking 2-3 hours depending on the day. Individual Form 4 approvals are all over the place from as little as 24 hours to 3-4 months from date of submission. This information was last updated on 12/27/2024.

Can I start my background check while the firearm or suppressor is in transit?
No, all transactions are tied to a serial number so the item must be in hand and processed. You must be present with a current state or government issued ID.

Do I have to notify the sending establishment?
Yes, let the sending FFL know to whom you would like your firearm sent to. They will need a copy of my license. Tell the sender to email a request to: [email protected] or provide Ryan with the sellers email and your order number.

Will you ship out firearms to a different shop?
No, we do not currently offer that service. 

Will you do a private party transfer?
Yes, schedule an appointment with Ryan. Both parties need to be present with current state or government issued ID. Private party transfer fees apply (above). 

Is there a price break for transferring multiple firearms? 
Yes, the first firearm is charged at full price and each subsequent non-NFA firearm is charged at $25 as long as they are on the same transaction.
